A lovely original condition Sauer model 1913 pistol. As the name suggests it was introduced in 1913. Small batches were procured by the German army during the Great war and were often pressed into service as substitute standard sidearms. It was a popular sidearm with both officers and NCO's of the German Army and were purchased privately by the enlisted troops. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked and dry fired.
