A superb condition 1938 dated Mauser, PO8 Luger. Matching numbers, accept for the magazine, however the magazine is from same period and carries the same Nazi code Eagle over 63 as the pistol. The Luger is correctly coded S/42 with Waffenamt military acceptance stamps along with the early drop winged eagle Wehrmacht proofs. Mauser produced around 124,000 Lugers in 1938 with the majority being issued to the army. The Luger still remains one of the most iconic and collectable pistols the world over. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
