An early Second World War, Nazi K98 manufactured by Mauser under secret code "42", and dated 1939. A great looking example with the remnants of a scope mount on the rear of the receiver. This one may well have been a sniper during its service life! It has its original floor plate assemble and carries the correct Mauser acceptance stamps WaA63. The K98 was issued to all branches of the Nazi regime seeing service on all fronts throughout the war. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
