Product Information

Now this is a very rare find indeed, an all factory matching numbers WWII German MG34. - One of only 1,000 ever made!!! Dated 1943, it was made at the Waffenwerke Brunn factory (dot). All visible numbered parts are the original parts fitted from the factory in 1943, this includes the bolt and stock! This MG34 is one of only a 1,000 MG34's that were part of small secret deal made between the Nazi's and the Portugese Government. Very little information is known regarding this wartime shipment however, we have included paragraphs from Folke Myrvang's book "MG34 - MG42 The German Universal Machine Guns", who has investigated this closely guarded wartime secret contract. His findings further the intrigue into why so little in known of this contract. He states that two shipments of 400 and 600 guns were delivered by Rheinmetall-Borsig during the war. We assume that this gun was in the second shipment, the number on the Rheinmetall top cover denotes that this is gun number 413 from the contracted 1,000 guns. The Portugese referred to this model as the Metralhadora M/944. If you collect MG34's or want one of the rarest wartime examples of its type then this is the one own. Included with the gun is the correct and original FBP marked feed tray and leather sling. Deactivated with a working action.
