This is a Second War World Nazi Walther PPK. It dates to late 1940 early 1941 production and has definitely seen active service. The slide legend has worn from years of use but is still legible. The original chocolate coloured one piece grips have had a small repair, again from service use. The PPK was considered to be the "Rolls Royce" of pistols in its day and was coveted by Nazi officials who would often privately purchase them as their personal sidearm.
