Product Information

A genuine Second World War German MG34 Panzerlauf or Panzermantel. They were used on tanks and other armored vehicles. Very few survived as most German tanks and vehicles were destroyed, along with the there machine guns and weaponry. This example was manufactured by Maget of Berlin makers code CRA, who of the two manufactures producing this type of MG34, made by far the fewest.  It is matching numbers with exception of the bolt (which is also CRA made). It has crisp clear and correct Waffenamt codes (WaA11) and is in original condition, dated 1943. It is clear from the even ware on all parts of the barrel jacket that it is original to the gun, and more importantly the jacket has the correct and distinctive 'plum' colour to its finish. (Not to be confused with 'copies' bearing blued jackets) and has the correctly positioned Nazi eagle stamp. The discolouration occurred during the bluing and heating processes and is unique to this part. Included is an equally rare complete and correct original ground mount kit consisting of metal box containing sling (coded gxy41), bipod legs(coded WaA161) and rare clamp attachments(both correctly coded) . This kit was issued along the 34 to enable it to used as a ground weapon if removed from its vehicle. A very rare set. Also included is a belt with WWII dated inert 7.92mm rounds. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
