Product Information

If you are looking for a Korean or Vietnam War issued weapon, then this has to be on your list!! This Communist manufactured PPSH41 "Type 50" bears all the hallmarks of a war weary gun. In 1950 North Korea began its invasion of South Korea armed largely with Soviet weapons such as the PPSH41 or, as it was referred to then "the Burp Gun". The Type 50 was also widely fielded by Communist North Vietnamese forces during the Vietnam War (1955 to 1975). The simple and clever design of the PPSH made it ideally suited to jungle warfare. The markings on the receiver denote that this example was made at the Chinese 626 Factory in 1952. Note the three very obvious hand made metal plates around the pistol grip, these were added by a soldier in the field and would appear to be for added grip. When holding the gun your thumb, fingers and palm are all in contact with these three plates and the rear plate is heavily worn / polished from use. A testament to its build quality is the fact its still retains all of its original matching numbered parts!!

Deactivated to current specifications with a moving bolt and trigger.
