This is a French MAB pistol chambered in 7.65mm. The MAB Model D with serial numbers starting with the letter D prefix were issued to French Customs Services, usually referred to as “la Douane” with custom officers being referred to as "Douaniers”. During Nazi occupation in WWII the Model D issued to German forces. This example dates to the late 1940s early 1950s and is still in good condition with its factory blued finish, magazine and MAB grips. Included is a black leather holster and several inert 7.65mm rounds. Deactivated very sympathetically with a working action.
