Old Spec SLR L1A1 fitted with Trilux L2A2 Scope and mount. A lovely example with black plastic furniture. The scope is first generation and is dated 1976 the heart Northern Ireland conflict and pre Falklands war. The scope is in good working order with clear optics. Rifle is accompanied with a comprehensive kit comprising of correct sling, spare magazine, inert 7.62mm rounds, magazine loader, complete tool kit and L1A3 Enfield 1971 dated bayonet & scabbard. A very impressive set.

The L1A1 was the mainstay of the British army through many post-war conflicts. The SLR proved its worth during the Troubles in Northern Ireland and Falklands conflict. Firing the hard-hitting 7.62mm round, this weapon is remembered fondly by squaddies across the world. Many are still in service around the world today. Deactivated to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
