Deactivated Plated Russian Made Kalashikov AK47. The plating looks to be "factory" finish and has some considerable age to it. This is further supported by the relatively low serial number (67682), with the makers mark for the Russian Izhmash factory (arrow within a triangle). This AK would have been a highly treasured weapon by its owner. This type of plating is sometimes done at the request of a person of military standing or importance, or possible as a presentation piece. Deactivated to current specifications with moving safety/selector and trigger it can be partially stripped.
