Deactivated Rare Type 24 Chinese Rifle

This is a rare Chinese made Chiang Kai-Shek Mauser Type 24 rifle that was made at their state factory No 21. The receiver bears the Zhongzheng script with reversed swastika. Below this is the numbers 38 which is the Chinese year of 1949, meaning this rifle is from the final year of production. These rifles were issued to the National Revolutionary Army with many also being used by the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam War. Remarkable it still retains the majority of its original matched parts. When encounted these rifles are often in very poor condition, however this examples has survived and now has an even patina to the finish.
