Product Information

This is a matching numbers Zastava-Kragujeva Yugoslavian RPK (Ruchnoy Pulemyot Kalashnikova) light machine gun, model M72B1, dated 1986 (Cold War Era). It was originally created and designed to standardize the small arms inventory of the Red Army in the 1950's. The design is based on the now legendary AK47. The M72 has a heavier barrel with cooling fins, to cope with sustained or prolonged fire. This example is reputed to have been captured and brought back from the Yugolsav War (1991 to 2001). The two crosses carved into the stock are thought to be confirmed kills by the firer of this weapon! They continue to be used by many armed forces around the world today often seen in the hands of the Taliban and other terrorist organisations. Deactivated with a working action. The magazine contains several inert 7.62mm rounds.
