Product Information

This is a Russian made Kalashnikov AK47 assult rifle. Dated 1970 - Vietnam War and Balkans War era, that is covered in names, inscription and symbols added by its various owners during its service life. We know that it was still being used in 1999 and has the name SALAPIJA - a Croatian name and date of 11-11-99 (11th November 1999). The carved cross or crucifix would suggest ownership by a Croat fighter who were predminantely Catholic. The Yugoslav Wars took place between 1991 to 2001 and involved Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia, Montenegro adn Kosovo to name a few. This AK may well have been there! Remarkable it still has its matching cover. The overall wear and tear to the finish would indicate that it has seen plenty of action. It comes with a bayonet and scabbard.

Deactivated to current specifcations with moving parts.
