Product Information

Russian 7.62 mm Ruchnoy Pulemyot DP28 (Degtyaryova pakhotnyi). Dated 1951 with matching numbers and bolt. The DP was the first originally developed Soviet machine gun which appeared in 1926. The prefix 'DP' indicates a 'Degtyarev' machine gun for infantry use.They were used by Russian forces throughout WWII. They were also supplied to the Korean's and Vietnamese during there conflicts with US. Rugged and robust, the DP will operate in all condition, and with very little maintenance. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
