Deactivated Russian SGMT Machine Gun. The SGM series evolved from the wartime SG-43. This is the tank mounted type with electrically operated firing mechanism. This is an early example with longitudinal fluted barrel fins to save weight and improve air cooling. They were used by the Russian Army until the mid 1960's. Deactivated with a working action.
