Product Information

This is a rare Italian made Franchi SPAS.12 Shotgun. Designed primarily as a combat shotgun it had dual modes, capable of semi-automatic or pump action. The SPAS-12 has a magazine cut-off feature that can prevent the loading of a new round from the internal magazine when the gun is cycled. This allows the operator to load a specialized round into the chamber without going through the entire magazine first. They are still in used with special forces units around the world, and came to great notoriety when used in the first Jurassic Park movie in 1993 by Robert Muldoon whilst hunting Velociraptors. With only 37,000 ever made they are becoming very hard to find. This one dates to 1982 as the year of manufacture. Production ran from 1979 until 2000.
