This is a rare old spec deactivated British issued Heckler & Koch P9S 9mm Semi Automatic Pistol. The P9S is a fairly unusual pistol in its own right, with H&K only producing them from the mid 1960s to late 1970s. This model being manufactured to a very high quality with the aim of marketing them to military users. This pistol was issued to a member of our own special forces, and is an ex SAS issued weapon. It having been submitted for deactivation proof by the Quartermaster Hereford Garrison in 1994, where as we all know the SAS regiment(s) are based and train. The P9S are known to have been used by UK Special forces in Northern Ireland with this pistol dating to 1973-74. Other users of the P9S were the US Navy and more interestingly the Argentine Army. Deactivated in 1994 to old specifications it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
