An original WWI Webley & Scott Flare Pistol dated 1918. Broad arrow marked, matching numbers with original wooden grips, lanyard hoop and brass trumpet sleeve. Only recently discovered by relatives, it was owned by Captain W.T.Latham, Warkwickshire Regiment who was stationed at Ypres during the First World War. A great piece of British history. The signal/flare pistol like this one, along with whistles were used when ordering soldiers to leave the trenches and go "over the top". This pistol is still live and requires a firearms license with the correct variation to own . It can be deactivated to order.
