An extremely rare British Naval service marked Boer War era Enfield MLE - Magazine Lee Enfield MKI dated 1898. Next to the bolt safety bracket is the capital letter N, this was only applied to Royal Navy issued weapons and is an extremely rare mark to be found on an MLE. In addition to this it has its magazine cut-off plate, bolt cover, cleaning rod and front and rear volley sights. The pictures speak for themselves, this is one of best condition example of its type. It has been converted from .303 to .410 with a magazine restriction to one shot and can be owned as a bolt action shotgun on a section 2 license. Included is an original pull through cord and oil bottle.
