Product Information

An original British WWII era manufactured Schermuly line thrower. Circa 1940s. The maker mark looks to be  Berridge & Co (BE.Co) who produced these types of pistols during WWII. The Schermuly design was highly successful for the throwing of lines from shore to ship, or ship to ship. The Schermuly system saved countless lives at sea. They were used by the Royal Navy throughout WWII. It is currently live and can be deactivated to order if required. It can be purchased with an FAC with the correct variation.
