Antique Jezail Matchlock Musket. The Jezail uses the unusual Sind shaped stock, which made the gun easier to fire from horseback. Many of these guns were later converted to flintlock and percussion. They were hand made and regarded as a very personal weapons, and designs and finish varied, often tailored to and individuals requirements. This type was used by Afghan warriors against the British in the Anglo-Afghan war. It has a highly decorative finish, working action and is fitted with ram rod. It can be owned live without any form of license. Overall length 152cms.
