A superb condition WWII Italian Carcano model 91/38, chambered in 6.5mm. Dated 1940 it was manufactured at the RE Terni arsenal and has matching numbers and a very low two digit serial number. It was introduced in 1938 as a short rifle rather than a carbine and saw service throughout the war with Axis forces. This is the same model of Carcano used by Lee Harvey Oswald to assassinate US President JF Kennedy. The bore is in excellent condition. The stock cavity contains the two piece cleaning rods. An FAC with the correct variation is required to purchase this rifle.
