Product Information

A lovely condition early production J.P.Sauer (S/147 coded) K98. Dated 1937 and with virtually all matching numbers including bolt and wood work. It is very unusual to find such an early K98 that is so complete, bearing in mind that gun would have been involved in the early stages of the war. Correctly marked with Waffenamt codes “214” and “359” and covered in a plethora of Nazi markings. Sauer only managed to produced around 190,000 this year with the German army procuring all of them. Just visible on the stock in the capital letter H - Heer, German for army. This K98 would have almost certainly been involved in the early military engagements and Blitzkrieg of European countries with it eventually being stationed in Norway during its occupation until 1945.

Chambered in .30.06. it has a mint bore! An FAC with the correct variation is required to purchase this rifle.

This K98 is brand new to the UK market having just been imported by us and having spent over 70 years under Norwegian ownership.

Can be deactivated to order with a working action, price £695.
