Product Information

An excellent Second World War, British made Lee Enfield No4T sniper rifle. Manufactured by BSA, Shirley (M47C) it is dated 1944 with matching numbers to receiver, but socket, bolt, mount and wood work. The mount has been renumber and the old ones struck through, which is a very good indication that it saw action and was armour reworked. The initials "TR" stamped below the serial number mean "Telescopic Rifle".The scope is an original WWII, No32 MK1, 1943 dated and has excellent clear optics. On the underside of stock are the correct WWII "S51" Holland & Holland inspectors markings.  Relatively few No4t's were manufactured during wartime production, with 23,187 in total produced from 1942 to early 1946. It is fitted with the correct cheek piece and M1 Garand leather sling. Used by various British regiments and special ops units during WWII. This is the rifle used by British snipers during WWII. A rare opportunity to own a piece of WWII British history.

With its original barrel it is chambered in .303 and can be owned on an FAC with the correct variation.
