Product Information

A lovely condition WWII Russian Mosin Nagant M/91 that has been converted into a sniper rifle and fitted with PU scope and mounts. Manufactured by Izhevsk, dated 1941. Matching numbers to receiver, bolt, magazine assembly, butt plate and scope mount. The scope has good clear optics. The Nagant sniper was made famous by the film Enemy at the Gates a film about the Russian sniper ace Vassili Zaitsev, played by Jude Law. Zaitsev is credited with 242 kills in Stalingrad using his type of Nagant rifle. Russia, unlike most other military nations, also used women to carry out sniper duties, and had over 2000 during WW2. They proved very effective and accurate snipers!! Comes fitted with sling, cleaning rod and leather scope covers. Chambered in 7.62mm it can be owned live on an FAC with the correct variation. It can be deactivated to order.
