A completely mint condition First World War M1917 Bayonet & Scabbard with integral leather frog. Marked with US Government flaming grenade, on the reverse Winchester makers mark letter "W" circled and 1917. It is complete with it's original painted stiff leather scabbard, with two steel unmarked mounts, brass belt hooks and leather belt mount. They fit the US P17 & UK P14 rifles and were also fitted to combat shotguns during WWI. The originally factory bluing is unmarked as is the scabbard. Only Remington and Winchester manufactured this bayonet with Winchester producing by far the fewest only 225,000, and Remington 1.25 million. You wont find a better or more original example!!!!!
