This is an original early Second World War, German K98 leather sling. The buckle is marked L&F = Linden & Funke KG, Iserlohn and the leather is maker marked and dated 1939 with Nazi eagle acceptance stamp. It comes complete with rare early brass buttoned stopper, buckle and leather adjuster hoop.

They were also used on a variety other German weapons during WWII, such as the MP44 & G43 rifles.
