This is a set of early WWII Vickers K drum magazine canvas pouches. Both pouches are clearly maker marked MECo - Mills Equipment Company, dated 1940 with military acceptance stamps. The strap is Mills Equipment Company dated 1939 with military acceptance. The Vickers K machine gun saw military service throughout WWII during the Battle of Dunkirk, with the SAS in the deserts and with commandos in the invasion of Normandy to name but a few.
