This is a very unusual East German training AKM rifle with dummy bayonet attachment. The body and magazine are of wood construction, and dummy barrel and sprung plunger of metal, with rubber end cap. The rubber sleeve holds the dummy bayonet (plunger) in place. This is only one that we have ever seen. We be ideal as a film or stage prop, training aid.
