European 7.65mm Pistol Holster

This is an unusual military issued brown leather holster. Unlike any other example it has the spare magazine pouch on the front edge beside the pistol. Normally it is mounted in front or on top of the pistol. Its size would indicate that it fits a 7.65mm pistol, this is further supported by the imprint of the pistol it once housed. It looks to have been a Walther PP sized gun. The design and style of belts hoops would suggest that it may have been used by air or tank crews? Hand written are the initials VT and the individuals service number 682168.
