Product Information

A First World War dated German imperial army Gew98 rifle S98/05 'Butcher' knife bayonet with scabbard. Manufactured by Simson & Co, Suhl with the correct imperial German army acceptance stamps and dated 1915. The initials Crown over RC on the spine of the blade and pommel indicate that it returned to the arsenal for repair or replacement part(s). Its also a good indication that it saw service. The tip of the blade has definitely resharpened.
