Product Information

This is a First World War dated Imperial German army issued M1884/98 knife bayonet with the correct scabbard. Both bear the Imperial German army acceptance stamps. The bayonet was made by Rich. A .Herder, Solingen and is dated 1917. The cross guard is unit or regimentally marked "9.596". Rich. A .Herder produced bayonets during both worlds wars and most famously for the SS. The bayonet with fit the Gew98, KAR98 and K98 rifles and carbine.
