This is a genuine Walther PP / PPK Cleaning Kit Tin. They were issued with the pistol and would contain tools to maintain the gun. This example has the pre-war / wartime Walther address and a picture of the Walther factory pressed into the lid. Inside is what looks to be an original corked glass bottle containing oil.
