This is a rare US military 76mm experimental trials round. It is dated 8-54 ( August 1954) The markings on the base of the cartridge are "T19E1B1" T stands for Trials and E, Experimental. It stands 86.5 cm high. It would have been used on Tank or artillery cannon.
