Product Information

This is a WWII Nazi  ZF K43 sniper scope that was captured by the Czech army in 1945. The scope was made in late 1944 early 1945 at the Waffenwerke Bruenn, Prerau plant, secret makers code "dow" in Czechoslovakia  which was renamed 'Opticotechna GmbH, Werk Prerau / Protektorat' in 1943. This ties in nicely with the additional Czech markings of U 45 either side of the Czech Prancing Lion proof stamp and the serial number of 3533. Troops of the 1st, 2nd and 4th Ukrainian fronts completed the liberation of Czechoslovakia in May 1945. All Nazi weapons manufacturing facilities were then put into Allied control after which the Czechs starting using captured G43 & K43 German rifles fitted with these scopes. This scope was fitted to the German G43 / K43, FG42, MP43 and K98 sniper variants during wartime service.

The scopes optics are in very good condition with both cross hares and central post in tact. Ideal for use on a live fire or for display on wartime G43 / K43, FG42, MP43 and K98 sniper variant.
