RARE WWII German Naval S.F14 Ranging / Sighting Binoculars

An original pair of WWII German Navy issued "rabbit or donkey ears" ranging or sighting binoculars. This pair are correctly marked on the axis plates with the German military codes S.F14 Z.Gi M/6400 and makers code "bmj" - Hensoldt & Sohne Werke A-G Wetzlar in Germany. What makes this pair more unusual than most others is the letter M stamped below the serial number. This was only applied to German Navy (Kriegsmarine) equipment. It would appear that very few were allocated to the navy. Another unusual feature is the bracket and clamp on the base of the right hand tube, again this would appear to be a very unique addition not seen on ground issued S.F14's. The Scherenfernrohr 14 ( S.F14), were originally designed for observation of enemy lines without having to expose the user to potential enemy fire. Still in good condition with working optics.
