Rare WWII K98 Bayonet & Scabbard

This is a Second World War Nazi K98 Bayonet with scabbard that were manufactured by Berg&Co. The scabbard is a very rare Kriegsmarine (Navy) marked example dated 1939. The letter N signifies that it was issued to the German Naval fleet= Nordsee (North Sea Fleet). Far fewer were bayonets and scabbards issued to the Navy so it is to be expected that very few survived, as the vast majority were lost at sea during WWII hostilities.
