Product Information

This is an un-restored Shell Motor Spirit oil can. During the war they were used in conjunction with a rubber hose to keep the barrel of a Vickers machine gun cool whilst in use. It has its BP brass brass cap and pouring nozzle. Often the water canister is the missing part from a Vickers set.
