This is a unique field modified WWI British Webley .455 revolver holster. Using a standard issue First World War Webley MK6 leather holster a Sam Brown shoulder strap has been stitched on for use as belt and leather strap riveted at the base to attach to the thigh. The most plausible explanation would be for use in the confines of a tank or airplane. Under the flap are the initials "BEO 24" . The leather is evenly worn throughout. Pictured with a WWII S&W .38 revolver that fits perfectly. This is not included.
