Product Information

This is a genuine pre WWI / First World War German Prussian / Bavarian soldiers issued belt complete with buckle and hangers. The belt is maker marked and regimentally issued to the 3rd Infantry Jager Regiment. It also has another intriguing stamp which looks to be "Rw JR? 48". The belt has clearly been field repaired with metal pins or studs added to re-attach the leather fastening tang. The buckle is an early type and reads In Treue Fest - meaning steadfast in loyality which was is use from 1805 to 1918. The belts makers would appear to be one of the more scarce manufactures Friedich, Schrader, Hanover.
