This is a First World War dated 250 round aluminum belt. Dated 1916 with the makers name Wedermann, Berlin N39. It was developed for easier hand loading for use with the MG 08, .303 Vickers and the MG 08/15 using the 08 Feed Pawl without finger guide. They were also supplied to other Axis and Allied Nations.
