WWI & WWII SMLE 1907 Pattern Bayonet & Scabbard. Manufactured by Sanderson. The date stamp is 8'18 (August 1918). On the reserve are the inspectors and broad arrow stamps. The scabbard is marked SALL 1941 with Broad arrow stamp. The bayonet pommel still bears remnants of black paint which was often used on second world war issued weapons and equipment. It is most probable that this bayonet & scabbard have been through both worlds war together.
