This is a WWII German K98 bayonet and scabbard. The bayonet was made by F.W. Holler in 1938 and the scabbard by E.u.F. Horster and also dated 1938. It is unusal to find a scabbard hand painted in this colour. This would signify that it was being used in wooded environment such as the Ardennes in Belgium.
