An original Second World War German airforce arm compass. Dated 1939 it was issued to a member of the Nazi Luftwaffe. Still in lovely original condition and in good working order.
These would have been used with a leather strap which was worn over a flying jacket. Straps were often discarded and the compass carried in a pocket.
