This is a genuine WWII German M40 Helmet. The makers code and size are correctly stamped on the inside of the rim "hkp"= Sachsische emailler und Stanzwerke A.G. / Lauter and "66" the size. The batch code 31485 denotes that this M40 was Luftwaffe issued. The inner lining is still in very good original condition with both chin strap hoops.
