An original WWII British Lee Enfield No4/SMLE rifle bag. Dated 1942 with makers mark M.E.Co. (Mills Equipment Company). Unlike the more common examples this one has a leather foot or cap at the base and its original leather carry strap.They were issued along with each soldiers No4 or SMLE rifle.
