Product Information

An obsolete cailbre, Enfield Martini Henry MKII (2) under lever rifle dated 1887, chambered in the mighty .577/450 with War department (WD) and broad arrow stamps parts. The MK2 was produced by Enfield from 1876 to 1889. This model of Martini was most famously used by the out numbered British 2nd Battilion of the 24th foot during the battle at Rorke's Drift. Chambered in the mighty .577/450 round, it is reputed that at close range during the battle at Rorke's Drift, when the British ranks were firing at the oncoming Zulu warriors, that this huge bullet past through one and in some cases even two warriors before stopping!!!

This Martini is chambered in an obsolete calibre and can therefore be owned live without any form of license.

It has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.
