This is a Gilles Mariette manufactured Rook rifle. He was known to have been trading from 1832 to 1865 producing high quality and bespoke firearms. He also deposited many patents and clever designs throughout his career. This example is chambered in the antique obsolete of .380, the barrel has old British proof stamps meaning this rifle sold into the UK market. The pistol and forerip both have hand cut checkering and are made from high quality Walnut. The action utilses the falling block system and is still tight and crisp.

Chambered in an antique obsolete calibre it can be owned live without any form of license. It has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired.The bore is in superb condition throughout.

It is not deactivated in any way and is being sold as a collectors piece only.
