Swiss Military Fortress or Artillery Carbine

This is a Swiss Military Fortress or Artillery Carbine M1864/67/85. Dated 1869 with all matching serial numbers of 2932. The lack of sling swivels would suggest that this one was used as fortress carbine, not needing to be carried whilst garrisoned. This beautifully engineered rifle is chambered in a massive 12mm obsolete calibre (Section 58) and must have given one hell of a kick when fired!! It can be owned without form of license and has a full working action and can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. The bore is in good condition.
