Product Information

Rare US Civil War production Colt 1861 Navy .36 percussion revolver. This model was produced in much smaller numbers with only 38,843 made. By the end of the US Civil War (1865) Colt had reached around serial number 28,000. This example is number 7160 and would have almost certainly been used during the war. This example has definitely seen action, the barrel address legend is just visible. The majority of weapons used during the Civil War saw extensive use and had a fairly hard life.

A real collectors piece and a rare revolver. It has a full working and will cocked, stripped and dry fire.

It is not deactivated in any way and is being sold as a collectors piece only.
